Refund Policy

At BlackbirdDance LLC, we understand that travel plans can change. We strive to offer flexibility while also respecting the effort and resources that go into organizing each tour — especially those in remote or culturally sensitive regions. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled for bookings made through our platform.
1. General Refund Guidelines
Refund eligibility depends on the type of tour, notice period before departure, and the terms agreed upon at the time of booking. Please read the specific terms for each tour on its page before confirming your booking.
2. Cancellation by Traveler
30+ days before departure:
Full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
15–29 days before departure:
50% refund of the total booking amount.
7–14 days before departure:
25% refund of the total booking amount.
Less than 7 days before departure or no-show:
No refund, due to prior commitments to guides, local partners, and accommodations.
Note: Some tours may have stricter policies depending on destination logistics — these will be clearly stated during booking.
3. Cancellation by BlackbirdDance LLC
If we cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, local restrictions, minimum group size not met), travelers will be offered:
A full refund, or
The option to reschedule or receive credit for a future tour
We are not responsible for costs not booked through us (e.g. flights, visas).
4. Custom Tours and Expeditions
Custom itineraries, private group tours, and specially arranged expeditions may be non-refundable or subject to different terms. These will be clearly outlined in your confirmation email.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued.
